Players to Watch

Upstate: Redshirt Junior Forward, Learic Davis added his career high of 18 points in the matchup at Presbyterian shooting 6-for-9 from the field, 2-for-3 from beyond the arc, and 4-for-6 from the charity stripe. Davis has added three games scoring 15+ points along with seven double figure performances. Learic Davis is fourth on the team with 9.4 points a game followed by filling the stats sheet with 5.2 rebounds while also shooting 51 percent from the field, 35 percent from beyond the arc, and 76 percent from the free throw line. Davis continues to be a key contributor in the Marty Richter system along with being able to guard multiple positions along with playing different roles on the court.

Winthrop: Senior Center, Logan Duncomb has led the Eagles with 17.3 points a game and 8.1 rebounds. Duncomb has taken the highly anticipated leap where he averaged 3.0 points through 24 games played. Through 17 games, Duncomb added seven double-double performances while adding a season-high of 31 points. Duncomb is more of a traditional post player shooting 64 percent from the field and only attempting two three-pointers. The Spartans will look to contain Duncomb from crashing the boards and affecting the game with his post play.
