2019-20 (Senior): Started all 30 games…Joined the 1,000-point club in the regular-season finale against Winthrop on Mar. 7…Surpassed 700 career rebounds against Hampton on Feb. 18…Named to the Big South Conference All-Academic Team…Recorded six double-doubles in the last 11 games including a 23-point, 17-rebound effort in the First Round of the Hercules Tires Big South Women’s Basketball Championship to advance the Spartans over Winthrop…Posted 12 double-digit scoring games including a career-high 26 points against Radford on Feb. 25…Hauled in a career-high 18 rebounds against Charleston Southern on Feb. 11…Upstate’s leading rebounder (8.6 rebounds per game) and second leading scorer (9.4 points per game)…Averaged 29.9 minutes per game…Ranked second in Big South rebounding.

2018-19 (Junior): Started in 30 of 30 games she played her junior season. Playing an average of 29.6 minutes per game. She averaged 11.2 points per game (second on the team) and 7.8 rebounds per game. Popplewell was ranked 1st in offensive rebounds with 118 on the season, 6th in offensive and defensive rebounding, 10th in blocked shots and ranked 13th in scoring in the Big South Conference. Popplewell was named the Big South Scholar Athlete of the Year, an education major with a 4.0 GPA. She scored a season high 23 points in a 68-64 loss @ Western Carolina (Dec 4.) where she went 11-14 (78.6%)

2017-18 (Sophomore):  Played in 29 games while making 23 starts on the season…Was third on the team averaging 7.4 points per game…Ranked second in rebounding with 5.0 per game…Averaged 24.9 minutes per game…Recorded nine double-digit scoring performances…Collected one double-double of 16 points and 13 rebounds against Stetson…Tied her career-high of 17 points twice versus NJIT and North Florida…Posted 10 or more rebounds four times highlighted by 13 against Stetson.

2016-17 (Freshman):  Started all 30 games during her freshman season...Her 30 games started are the most by a freshman in school history...Named to ASUN All-Freshman Team...Averaged 7.4 points per game...Led the team with 155 rebounds and 5.2 rebounds per game...Compiled a team-leading 21 blocked shots...Scored a career-high 17 points against NJIT...Pulled down a career-best 14 rebounds against NJIT...Recorded double-doubles in consecutive games at N.C. Central and NJIT...Finished in double-figures 11 times.

High School:  Lettered in basketball, volleyball, track and softball at South Central High School…Named Herald-Argus Player of the Year as a senior after averaging 20.0 points per game with 3.6 steals, 1.8 assists and 11.6 rebounds per game…Holds single-season and career record for blocks and rebounds as well as the single season record for free throws…Part of school-record 4X400-meter and 4X800-meter relay teams.
