Jacob Condra-Bogan enters his fourth season as an assistant coach at USC Upstate during the 2025 season after being announced to the coaching staff on February 10, 2022.

In 2024, Upstate captured 36 victories, giving the program a fourth consecutive season with 35 or more wins, the longest such streak in program history. The Spartans also returned to the Big South Tournament Championship Game for the second straight season.

The Spartan pitching staff, for the second consecutive season, put forth a program-record strikeout total, punching out 510 batters while recording five shutouts, a total that ties for the second-most in a single season in the program's Division I era (2007-pres.). Four members of the Upstate pitching staff ended the season with All-Big South honors.
 
In 2023, Condra-Bogan helped guide USC Upstate to one of the most successful seasons in program history as the program reached its first-ever Big South Tournament Championship Game while collecting a program-best 38 overall wins and 21 conference wins (non-40-game conference schedule) en route to the No. 2 seed in the Big South Championship.
 
Under his guidance, the Spartan pitching staff struck out a program-record 497 batters while right-handers Jake Cubbler (1.51 ERA) and Reese Dutton (10 wins; 102 strikeouts) put forth program-record performances during the 2023 season. Five members of the Spartans’ pitching staff ended the season with All-Big South honors.
 
In his first season helming the Upstate pitching staff, the Spartans improved in five major statistical categories from the season before, improving in ERA, hits allowed per nine innings, shutouts, strikeouts per nine innings, and WHIP.
 
In 2022, Condra-Bogan—serving as the team’s volunteer assistant—helped guide a Spartan pitching staff that ranked top two in four major statistical categories, leading the league in walks allowed per nine innings and ranking second in ERA, hits allowed per nine innings, and WHIP. He helped lead right-hander Noah Sullivan to Big South Freshman of the Year and Collegiate Baseball Freshman All-American honors as the two-way player finished his season with a 6-0 record and 3.31 ERA.
 
Condra-Bogan joined the Spartan coaching staff following a five-year career in professional baseball that culminated with a Spring Training Invitation from the Nationals ahead of the 2021 season.
 
He began his professional baseball career in 2017, signing with the Frontier League's Washington (Pa.) Wild Things. With the Wild Things, he teamed with current Upstate assistant coach Kane Sweeney, helping the franchise to the Frontier League postseason for the first time in three seasons.
 
He appeared in 12 games after signing with the club in late July, posting a 1-0 record with a save during his time in a Wild Things uniform. Over 11 regular-season appearances, he fashioned a 1.17 ERA while striking out 15 over 15.1 innings. He added 1.1 innings of relief during the 2017 Frontier League Division Round against Florence, helping Washington to its lone postseason victory.
 
Ahead of the 2018 season, Condra-Bogan signed as a Minor League Free Agent with the Royals, being assigned to the organization's Low-A affiliate in Lexington, Ky. With the Lexington Legends, he made 16 appearances, finishing with a 1-1 record and five saves. He tossed 26.0 innings, posting a 2.08 ERA and 39 strikeouts ahead of promotion to High-A Wilmington (Del.).
 
Condra-Bogan made one appearance with the Wilmington Blue Rocks before being traded to the Nationals for outfielder Brian Goodwin in late July. Assigned to the Potomac Nationals, he pitched 15.0 innings over 11 appearances, accruing a 1-2 record and two saves while posting a 2.40 ERA and 13 strikeouts.
 
In 2019, Condra-Bogan appeared in 38 games with Double-A Harrisburg, making 37 relief appearances and one start for the Senators while collecting a team-high seven relief victories, finishing 7-4 with a save on the season. He totaled 50 strikeouts over 62.1 innings, sporting a 3.61 ERA.
 
Following the 2019 season, he was assigned to the Surprise Saguaros of the Arizona Fall League, appearing in six games. Over 7.0 innings of work, Condra-Bogan did not allow a run, striking out five batters and earning three saves.
 
Despite seeing the 2020 Minor League season cancelled due to Covid-19, Condra-Bogan built upon his Arizona Fall League run with the Indios de Mayaguez in the Puerto Rican Winter League. Helping Mayaguez to the Winter League's Championship Series, he appeared in seven games, tossing 7.0 innings in which he struck out nine batters while surrendering no runs and just two baserunners.
 
After successful stints in the Arizona Fall League and Puerto Rican Winter League, Condra-Bogan received an invitation to Spring Training from the Nationals ahead of the 2021 season. He appeared in two games, facing the Houston Astros and New York Mets in relief.
 
Collegiately, Condra-Bogan spent four seasons at Wofford from 2013-16, accruing an 8-6 record over 128.0 innings and 62 appearances, tallying two saves, 118 strikeouts, and a 5.48 ERA during his time in a Terriers' uniform. He wrapped his collegiate career at Georgia Southern, making 19 appearances and six starts for the Eagles in 2017 while posting a 4.50 ERA and a 5-3 record over 56.0 innings, collecting 53 strikeouts.
 
He was drafted out of Georgia Southern in 2017, being drafted in the 32nd round by the Toronto Blue Jays.
 
A native of Woodruff, S.C., Condra-Bogan graduated from Wofford College in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Government before earning a Master of Science in Sport Management from Georgia Southern University in 2018.
