Biography
2009-10: Appeared in 27 games, making four starts... Averaged 4.7 ppg, 2.4 rpg and 1.5 apg… Scored a career-best 15 points in the 88-53 victory over South Carolina State (11/24)… Reached double figures in scoring four other times during the season… Scored 11 points at Winston-Salem State (12/1) as the Spartans claimed the 84-60 win… Scored 11 points against Presbyterian College on Dec. 30… Posted 10 points in Upstate’s first-ever victory over Belmont (1/7)…. Final double-digit scoring performance came against Lipscomb (2/11) with 14 points behind a career-best six field goals, also grabbed a career-best six rebounds... A member of the A-Sun All-Academic Team.
2008-09: Sat out season after transferring from UNC Greensboro.
Before USC Upstate: Spent two seasons with the Southern Conference''s UNC Greensboro, redshirting in 2006-07... Played in 19 games as a redshirt freshman in 2007-08, averaging 1.8 points and 1.6 rebounds per game... Posted six steals and 11 assists... Posted career-high six points and added four rebounds at Western Carolina (1/12)... Also added four rebound efforts against Tennessee Chattanooga (1/14) and Georgia Southern (1/5)... Notched five points and two assists against Central Florida (12/20)... Had four points against Tennessee Chattanooga (1/14) and UNC Asheville (11/24)... Also had four two-assist games.
High School: Played four years at J.L Mann High School... Named the Greenville County Basketball Coaches Association Player of the Year after averaging 16.7 points, four steals and three assists per game during senior season... Also was selected to the SCBCA All-State team... Scored 33 points in a 76-63 victory over North Charleston to win the Class 3A state championship... Emerged as the leader of a young squad that featured only two seniors among Mann''s top seven players... Competed in the Carolinas All-Star Basketball Classic in 2006... Scored a season-high 42 points in a regular-season loss to Greenville, but came back to score 21 points in the Patriots'' win in the Upper State final over Greenville... Named second team all-county and All-Peach Blossom Conference as a junior... Selected the most improved player on the team as a sophomore, also garnering third team all-county plaudits that year.
