Head Coach
Michael Antoniewicz has announced a familiar face to join the men's soccer program, appointing Matthew Dunn as assistant coach.
Dunn joins the Spartan program after serving alongside Antoniewicz at Coker College for the past three seasons.
The 2024 season was one of tremendous success in which Dunn helped Coker to a 15-3-1 overall record, reaching the South Atlantic Conference semifinal game. The Cobras reached the Sweet 16 of the National Tournament after receiving an at-large bid.
In his tenure with the Cobras, he tutored 19 All-Conference Selections, six All-Region selections, and one All-American Selection. Dunn also received Regional Staff of the Year honors.
Before arriving at Coker, Dunn was an assistant coach for women's soccer at Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas, where he coached five all-conference selections. He planned and led both defensive and goalkeeper-specific training sessions.
A former student-athlete in men's soccer for the Lees-McRae Bobcats, Dunn earned his bachelor's degree in health and wellness in 2020, and a master's in health and exercise science at Fort Hays State in 2022.
He holds his English FA Level 2 Soccer Coaching Certification and United States Soccer Federation (USSF) D license.
