University of South Carolina Upstate

Girardi joins USC Upstate Men’s Soccer in his first season after recently working alongside coaches with Serie A affiliated clubs such as A.S. Roma, Lazio, and other Italian Clubs in Rome, Italy. Girardi’s experience extends with the Rome City Institute being the Assistant coach for the men’s university team, the senators' team and Rome Prep Academy Men’s team. Nathan Girardi extends his coaching experience with being a Head Coach for the Rome City 5v5 University team and being the Head Coach for the youth teams ranging from u9-19 at St. George British International School. 

Nathan Girardi adds an extensive background of playing experience at the collegiate level as a member of Limestone University during the 2019-2020 season and finishing his career with Ferrum College through the 2020-2023 seasons. Girardi stacks more playing experience with UPSL Greenville United 2022 along with playing Semi Professional with Rome City University team in 2024.  

A native of Asheville, North Carolina, Girardi holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Ferrum College in Sports Management with a minor in coaching while being part of the Boone Honors program at the institution.  He added a master’s degree in Sports Management and Coaching from Rome City Institute in 2024. 

With much playing experience and coaching experience through his journey, Head Coach Michael Antoniewicz adding Nathan Girardi provides more knowledge to his loaded coaching staff with high anticipation to take the pitch in Fall 2025.
