Biography

2018-29 (Senior): Started in 26 of 28 games he played in during his senior season. Moore averaged 28.9 minutes per game with an average of 16.1 points per game. He led the team in scoring on 14 occasions including a season high 33 points in a win over Coker on Dec. 29. Moore had a total of 436 points for the season, along with 61 assists and 38 steals. Moore also led the team in rebounds on 15 different occasions. He ranked 7th in both rebounding and FG Percentages in the Big South Conference, while also ranking 10th in the conference for steals, and 11th in scoring. Moore achieved three straight double-doubles Western Michigan, Eastern Kentucky, and Furman. Team Rankings: 1st in points, scoring average, steals, rebounds. Moore reached the 1,000 career point club in 86-43 win against Brevard. In December, after games against Eastern Kentucky and Furman Moore was named Basketball player of the week for the first time of his career for the Big South Conference.

2017-18 (Junior):  Played in all 32 games making 29 starts (tied for second on the team)…Averaged 29.8 minutes of playing time per game…Was third on the team scoring with an average of 13.5 points per game…Led the team in rebounding with 6.1 per game while ranking third in assists dishing out an average of 2.4 per game…Scored in double-figures 23 times including 20 or more points in five games… Finished with a season-high 27 points on 10-of-15 shooting against Stetson…Recorded five double-doubles against Abilene Christian, Coastal Georgia, North Greenville, North Florida and Lipscomb…Ranked ninth in the ASUN in rebounding and 14th in scoring…Was one of four players to average in double-figures offensively…Shot over 40.0 percent from the field and had an assist-to-turnover ratio of 1.2.

2016-17 (Sophomore):  Was one of five players on the team to play in all 33 games last season and made 21 starts…Played in an average of 25.5 minutes per game…Was third on the team in scoring averaging 10.9 points per game…Also averaged 10.9 points per game against league opponents…Ranked third on the team with 5.2 rebounds per game…Finished the year shooting 46.4 percent from the field…Scored in double-figures 16 times including 20 or more points four times…Recorded at least 10 points six times in ASUN play…Set new career-highs of 28 points against UVa.-Wise…Made a career-best 10 of his 14 field goal attempts against UVa.-Wise.

2015-16 (Freshman):  Played in all 32 games and registered a total of seven starts…Averaged 5.4 points and 4.0 rebounds per game…Ranked fifth on the team in rebounding after averaging 15.9 minutes of playing time per game…Posted a 47.4% (63-for-133) shooting percentage from the field…Was second on the team in steals with 23…Made his first collegiate start during a road win at Navy…Scored in double-figures six times highlighted by 16 points against Lees-McRae…Pulled down a season-best eight rebounds in a road loss versus Colorado State…Set two career-highs in a home victory against Toccoa Falls with six steals and five assists…Was featured on Sportscenter’s Top 10 Plays after hitting the game-winning buzzer beater in the season finale against NJIT.

High School:  Graduated from Clyde A. Erwin High School where he lettered in basketball under head coach David Rhoney…Was believed to be the first student-athlete at Clyde A. Irwin in 20 years to sign with a Division I men’s basketball program…Finished his prep career with 1,397 points…As a senior, was named All-MAC, Citizen-Times All-WNC and N.C. Basketball Coaches Association All-District after helping Irwin to the Co-Mountain Athletic Conference 3-A championship…Averaged 18.3 points, 7.6 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game during his senior season…Participated in both the Blue-White and East-West All-Star Games…Selected as the 2014 All-WNC Player of the Year.
