Biography

2010: Turned in a solid season for the Spartans... ranked seocnd on the team in appearances, wins, ERA, starts and innings pitched... made 23 appearances and 16 starts on the year... totaled five wins... finished the year with a 2.97 ERA... had two complete games... tossed four innings of relief, allowing just two hits in the 8-0 win over Winston-Salem State (March 13)... went the distance, scattering four hits and striking out four in the 6-0 shutout at Gardner-Webb (March 30)... followed that performance with five strikeouts and allowing just five hits in the 11-0 shutout of Florida Gulf Coast (April 2)... tossed five innings, allowing just three hits to earn the win in the 3-1 victory over Winthrop (April 21)... tossed three innings of relief to earn the win in the 3-1 victory over ETSU (April 25)... started the crucial Saturday morning game against Stetson in the A-Sun Tournament (May 14)... scattered four hits in 3.1 innings before giving way to Morgan Childers... didn’t earn the win, but set the tone for the 2-1 win to move Upstate into the championship game of the tournament... a member of the A-Sun All-Academic team.

2009: Had a solid first season for the Spartans... made 22 appearances and 15 starts on the year... had four complete games and a shutout... ranked fifth in the A-Sun with two saves... finished the year with a 3.60 ERA and four wins... tossed 81 2/3 innings... had a pair of wins in A-Sun play... tossed a combined five innings of relief in two games, allowing just one hit in sweep of Montreat to open the season (Feb. 8)... earned the save in the second game with three hitless and scoreless innings of work... earned her first college victory and shutout after tossing five innings and allowing just three hits in the 17-0 victory over Gardner-Webb (Feb. 25)... tossed five innings allowing just one hit to earn the victory in the 3-0 decision over UNC Wilmington (March 5)... tossed three innings of scoreless relief at ETSU (March 22)... allowed just four hits and one earned run in the Spartans’ 7-2 win at Charlotte (March 24)... tossed a solid outing allowing one run on four hits in four innings in Upstate’s 2-1 win over North Florida (April 4)... tossed 1 1/3 innings of scoreless relief at Kennesaw State (April 24)... a member of the A-Sun All-Academic team.

High School: Named the 2007 3A GACA Pitcher of the Year for the state of Georgia in 2007 (Georgia plays high school softball in the fall)... also named the 3A Georgia Pitcher of the Year in 2006... led Blesed Trinity to the 2007 3A State Championship... led the team to the Elite Eight in 2005 and 2006... a three-time all-state selection and four-time all-area and all-region pick... a three-time all-area Pitcher of the Year... finished her career with a 93-22 record... struck out 997 batters in 772 innings... had a 0.57 ERA for her career... finished 2007 with a 29-4 record... tallied a 0.69 ERA as a senior with 294 strikeouts in 232 innings pitched... a member of the GACA North-South All-Star Team... listed as a top recruit for 2008 on rivals.com... played travel ball with the Atlanta Vipers Gold team... has helped the Vipers Gold to five ASA National Championship appearances with two Top 20 finishes.
