2020 (Senior): In a season shortened by the COVID-19 pandemic…Hill led the team in Appearances (14), Games Started (9), Complete Games (4), Shutouts (2), Innings pitched (56.0) and Batters Faced (210)…Hill ranked second on the team in Wins (5) and Strikeouts (42)…In the season opener Hill struckout a career high 11 batters against Bucknell (2/8/2020)…At the plate this season Hill had a 2-hit, 3-RBI performance against South Carolina State.
2019: Started 21 of the 30 games she played in during her junior season. Hill had 3 at bats on the season where she tallied 1 run. In the circle, she played in 29 games with 20 of those being starts. She had 14 wins and 9 losses, only giving up 1 home run on the season. She had 4 saves for the team. Her opponents had a mere .249 batting average against her earning her a 2.15 ERA for the season. This season, she pitched 6 complete games with 3 of those being shutouts. Had a season high 10 strikeouts in the 5-0 victory of Western Carolina on Apr. 3rd. Gave up just 1 hit in the 8-0 victory over Presbyterian on Mar. 16th. She was second on the team in ERA, opposing batting average, wings, innings pitched, appearances, batters struck out, and batters struck out looking. She was first in games finished, games in relief, and saves. Ranked in the top 10 in several categories of the Big South: 2nd in ERA (2.15), 6th in opposing batting average (.249), 9th in batters struck out (94), 5th in wins (14), 1st in saves (4), and 3rd in hits allowed (118).
2018: Started in 19 games compiling a 10-4 record with a 2.10 ERA…Had a career-high 23 appearances…Allowed 41 runs and 90 hits in 93.1 innings pitched…Threw 5.0 innings versus Lipscomb allowing no runs and only three hits in a 2-0 win…Limited opponents to a .249 average and struck out 37…Threw a complete game shutout and allowed only two hits in a win versus Kennesaw State…Started four games in the ASUN Softball Championship and led the team to three wins in 16.2 innings pitched and only four runs allowed…Had three appearances at the plate and scored a run.
2017: Compiled a 1-0 record with a 1.15 ERA in eight appearances and one start…Allowed just three runs and struck out ten in 18.1 innings of work…Limited opponents to a .190 average…Made her first collegiate appearance in a win over Georgetown, pitching one inning and struck out two…Threw a complete game shutout during her first career start, limiting Howard to just one hit and four strikeouts in five innings…Threw a career-high 5.2 innings versus Central Michigan…Appeared in six games primarily as a pinch-runner…Registered three at-bats on the season and scored two runs, including one in the ASUN Softball Championship game…. Threw 2.0 innings against Longwood in the NCAA Tournament, giving up only two hits and one walk.
High School/Travel Ball: Attended William Blount High School where she lettered four years in softball…Was honored with the Freshman Award during her first season, while also earning Best Defense and Blount Player of the Year awards throughout her career…Is a two-time All-District selection, while also receiving recognition in the classroom with the All-Academic Award…Also excelled on the mound beginning as a freshman pitching a perfect game…Hit .372 during her sophomore season while winning 24 games on the mound…Played travel ball for Team Knoxville where she competed at both the 2014 and 2015 Nationals.
