Lindsey Boldt enters her first season as an assistant coach withthe women's soccer program. Prior to her arrival inSpartanburg, she served as a graduate assistant coach atGardner-Webb University, where she earned a master's degree inSport Science and Pedagogy.
While on the Bulldogs staff, she was responsible for goalkeepertraining and game preparation as well as making sure allstudent-athletes met academic requirements. She also assistedwith both the training of the defense and recruiting. Boldthas also spent time as a high school assistant coach and working atvarious youth and summer camps.
A four-year letterwinning goalkeeper at the University of Iowa,Boldt was a two-time recipient of the team's Most InspirationalAward (2005 & 2006) and also earned All-Big Ten Academic honorsin 2006, 2007 and 2008. She also earned CoSIDA AcademicAll-District Honors in 2007 before graduating in June of 2008 witha major in both Communication Studies and Sports Studies.
