Zach Honeycutt is in his first season as a Volunteer Assistant Coach at USC Upstate.

His primary responsibilities include working with the catchers and assisting with the hitters. He also assists with field maintenance.

Honeycutt played baseball collegiately at Mars Hill where he graduated from in 2015 and played for head coaches Dan Taylor and Aaron Rembert.

A native of Locust, N.C., Honeycutt has been fortunate to work with Marty Reed, who is currently a pitching coach in the Atlanta Braves organization. He has also worked with former Los Angeles Dodgers catching coordinator Travis Barbary.
