Spartanburg, S.C. – The Campbell Fighting Camels defeated USC Upstate 6-0 in women's soccer non-conference action on Sunday evening at County University Soccer Stadium.

Campbell improves to 5-2 while Upstate falls to 0-6-2

  • Kline Thorsvik took a cross from Genas in the middle of the box and finished for her second goal of the year at the 11:04 mark (Campbell 1, Upstate 0). 
  • Genas took a pass from Payton Ormsby and chipped the ball over Bailey's head at 16:22 (Campbell 2, Upstate 0).
  • Haley Thoma took a pass from Rosie O'Neal and fired a shot into the right side of the net at 49:42 (Campbell 3, Upstate 0).
  • Christine Kindt scored her third goal of the season as Thorsvik sent a pass from the right side of the goal to Kindt, who fired the ball into the left side of the goal at the 75:09 mark (Campbell 4, Upstate 0).
  • Alexa Genas had a Shannon Wratchford shot that hit the post bounce to her feet and finished for her second goal of the year at 83:35 (Campbell 5, Upstate 0).
  • An Emily Erwin pass to Wratchford was finished into the right side of the goal from 25 yards out at 84:45 (Campbell 6, Upstate 0).
