Spartanburg, S.C. - The USC Upstate women's soccer team took a season-high 19 shots but were unable to capitalize as NJIT defeated the Spartans 3-0 in the ASUN Conference opener at County University Soccer Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
NJIT improves to 5-4-2 overall and 1-0 in league play while Upstate falls to 0-9-2 and 0-1.
