Jacksonville, Fla. – Julian Welborn scored his first goal at USC Upstate on Saturday evening as the Spartan men's soccer team dropped their regular season finale, 2-1, on the road against the North Florida Ospreys at Hodges Stadium.
Upstate finishes the season with a 3-10-2 overall record and 1-5 in the ASUN while North Florida improves to 3-9-2 on the season and 3-1 in conference play.

- Castellanos scored his first goal of the game in the 26th minute to give North Florida a 1-0 lead. Williams was credited with the assist after his cross from the right side allowed Castellanos to head the ball in from eight yards out. (USC Upstate 0, North Florida 1)
- Castellanos added his second goal in the 53rd minute to extend the Osprey's advantage to 2-0. His header was created by a cross from the left side by Connell, who picked up the assist. (USC Upstate 0, North Florida 2)
