Jacksonville, Fla. – Jada Kinlaw's goal in the 85th minute broke a 1-1 tie as the USC Upstate women's soccer team earned a 2-1 victory over North Florida at Hodges Stadium in Friday night.
Upstate improves to 6-5-1 overall and 1-0-1 in the ASUN Conference while North Florida drops to 7-3 and 1-1 in league play.

- North Florida outshot Upstate 26-5 and 11-3 in shots on goal. The Ospreys attempted 13 shots in each half.
- Thais Reiss took a match-high six shots to lead North Florida. Kendall Pollock had a match-best three shots on goal.

- Isabella Burns played in a cross to Kinlaw, who finished the ball near post for her second goal of the season in the 85th minute. (USC Upstate 2, North Florida 1)

- Reiss tied the match in the 64th minute as she dribbled through the Upstate defense and scored left side. (USC Upstate 1, North Florida 1)
