Spartanburg, S.C. – Isabella Burns scored the game-winner in the 107th minute to give the USC Upstate women's soccer team its first-ever Big South Conference win on Wednesday evening with a 1-0 double overtime victory over the Charleston Southern Buccaneers at County University Soccer Stadium.
USC Upstate improves to 5-5 on the season and 1-2 in league play while Charleston Southern drops to 4-2-2 overall and 1-1-1 in the conference.

- The Spartans held a 38-22 advantage over the Buccaneers in shots including a 20-7 mark in attempts on goal.
- USC Upstate also led 9-7 in corner kicks.
- Burns scored her fourth goal of the season and came off the bench to finish with seven shots.
