SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The USC Upstate women's soccer team is looking to end their six game losing streak on Wednesday night against Charleston Southern.
USC Upstate (2-8-3, 0-6-1 BSC) is 3-4 all-time against Charleston Southern (4-8-2, 1-4-2 BSC) dating back to the 2008 season. The Spartans are currently riding a two game winning streak against the Buccaneers with Charleston Southern's last win in the series coming during the 2012 season. th minute.
The Spartans are coming off a 3-0 road loss to Longwood on Saturday afternoon. The Spartans offense has gone dormant in the latter part of the season having only scored a pair of goals over the past seven games.
Abbie Ellis (Clemmons, N.C.) will look to add to her team leading four goals this season and
Montanna Hill (Mount Airy, Md.) currently leads the team with three assists on the season.
Charleston Southern is coming off a 4-2 win against UNC Asheville on Saturday afternoon. The win ended a month long winless streak with their last win coming against Alabama State on September 15
th. Kylie Doster and Zari Hayes lead the team with a quartet of goals on the season. Bri Robinson leads the team with five assists on the season.
