Series History
This is the sixth all-time meeting between USC Upstate and High Point dating back to Nov. 20, 1990, a 90-61 win for the Spartans. The Panthers hold a 4-1 advantage in the series. The Spartans will be looking for their first win against High Point since the initial meeting in 1990.

In the first meeting between the two teams this season, High Point took an 85-46 win on home court on Jan. 4. Upstate's Barrett Herring and Quadijah Moore both notched a dozen points in the loss. Jada Logan had a team high six rebounds and Brianna Lewis recorded five assists. Four Panthers finished the game in double-figures: Skyler Curran (17 pts), Camryn Brown (16 pts), Callie Scheier (12 pts) and Zaria Wright (11 pts).

Last time out
UPSTATE – USC Upstate snapped a 10-game losing streak Tuesday night with a 70-60 win over Presbyterian. The Spartans used a dominating fourth quarter, shooting 63.6% from the field while holding PC to just 11.8%, to pull away for the victory. Brianna Lewis posted a team-high 20 points while Anda Kuzmina came up big in the win with her first career double-double that included a game-high 10 assists.

High Point – The Panthers are on a two-game win streak after defeating Winthrop 94-61 on Saturday and most recently taking down Hampton 74-59 on Tuesday. Skyler Curran notched a double-double against Hampton with 21 points and 11 rebounds.

Ones to watch
UPSTATE – Junior Anda Kuzmina made her third consecutive start Tuesday night and notched her first career double-double with a season-high 12 points and career-high 10 assists. Senior Riley Popplewell notched a season-high 19 points on Tuesday and is now 100 points away from 1,000 in her career. Popplewell ranks fifth in Big South rebounding with 7.3 boards per game. Brianna Lewis is averaging 16.5 points per game since returning to Upstate's lineup on Jan. 21 and is the league's seventh leading scorer.

High Point Skyler Curran is the Big South's leading scorer averaging 17.5 points per game, and the Panthers are the league's team leader in scoring. Curran is also High Point's leading rebounder averaging 6.7 boards per game.

The Spartans hit the road next week traveling to Charleston Southern for a matchup against the Buccaneers on Tuesday, Feb. 11 at 7:00 p.m.
