Series History
In a rematch of last season's Big South semifinal—Upstate advanced on penalty kicks—USC Upstate and Campbell are meeting for the ninth time in the Spartans' Division I era Saturday. Despite trailing the series 0-6-2, the Spartans have captured back-to-back positive results with both of last season's meetings resulting in draws as Upstate took the season series on PK's in the Big South semifinal matchup.

Players to Watch
Upstate: Scoring three goals and an assist over the last five matches and posting seven points in the span, redshirt junior forward Javier Torres has emerged as another scoring threat for the Spartans. He scored Upstate's lone goal Tuesday against No. 25 UNC Greensboro, taking three shots with two landing on goal. On the year, he ranks second on the squad with four goals and an assist, tallying nine points.
 
Campbell: Ranking fourth in the NCAA in total points (27), fourth in total assists (nine), and 13^th in total goals (nine), forward Tyler Young is the catalyst for a Campbell offense that ranks second in the country in scoring. He enters Saturday's match after posting five points against UNC Asheville on Wednesday, scoring a pair of goals on his lone shot attempts while adding an assist.
 
UP Next for the Spartans
Following two straight matches on the road, Upstate returns to County University Soccer Stadium for the final time this season. The Spartans host rival UNC Asheville on October 30 at 7 p.m. ET in the team's penultimate match of the regular season.
