Series History
Heading into the regular season against the program it joined the NCAA Division I ranks with in 2007, Upstate carries a 7-4-1 overall record into Wednesday's match at Presbyterian. The two programs have traded victories over the last four meetings with the Spartans taking last season's match 5-1 at County University Soccer Stadium.

Players to Watch
Upstate: Scoring the first two Spartan goals against UNC Asheville Saturday, redshirt junior Javier Torres tied for the Upstate lead in goals scored this season behind his second-career brace with goals five and six of the year. Picking up assists on both of Torres' goals, redshirt junior Paul Bobai collected two of his program-record three assists in the match and enters Wednesday leading the Spartans in assists with six.
 
Presbyterian: Scoring the first of Presbyterian's three goals against Gardner-Webb last Saturday, midfielder Niklas Hoener tallied his first goal of the season on his lone shot of the match. His goal pairs with his three assists to give him five points this year, a total that ranks second on the Blue Hose squad this season.
