Series History
Upstate and Furman's meeting Saturday marks the fifth meeting between the two programs during Upstate's Division I era (2007-pres.). The Paladins have taken all four meetings in the series that dates back to the 2016-17 postseason. After the 2016-17 meeting in the CollegeInsider.com Tournament, the two teams have met during each regular season since the 2018-19 season.

Upstate: Behind a career-best 15 points and seven rebounds, redshirt sophomore forward
Ahmir Langlais led a group of five double-figures for the Spartans Tuesday night at South Carolina State. Of his 15 points against the Bulldogs, 14 came in the second half as six of his seven rebounds came off the offensive glass.

Furman: Leading Furman against Navy last Sunday, forward Jalen Slawson poured in a career-best 20 points to lead all Paladin scorers in the contest, adding seven rebounds, five assists, and four blocks. He ranks second on the Furman team in scoring, averaging 14.8 points per contest as all five Paladin starters average double-figures during the young season.

Following its contest with Furman, Upstate continues its three-game homestand with a Wednesday night meeting with North Carolina Central at the Hodge. The Spartans and Eagles tip-off at 6 p.m. ET on Dec. 1 with the game also airing on ESPN+
