Players to Watch
Upstate: Entering Saturday's game, senior forward Bryson Mozone leads Upstate in scoring while ranking second in rebounding, averaging 12.9 points and 4.7 rebounds per game. He also enters the game leading the Spartans in qualified field goal pct. (min. 5.0 FG made per game), ranking sixth in the Big South, shooting 40.7 percent from the field. This season, Mozone has scored in double-figures in seven games, the most by a Spartan this season.
 
Converse: Averaging 15.9 points per game each, guards Jimmie Sanders III and Sigurd Lorange enters Friday night's game versus Gardner-Webb as Converse's leading scorers. Sanders III has notched a team-leading seven double-figure scoring games while Lorange has tallied five such outings, including four scoring 20 or more points.
 
UP Next for the Spartans
Following Saturday's home game, Upstate hits the road for one final time ahead of the holiday break, travelling to Ohio Tuesday afternoon. The Spartans and Bobcats are slated for a noon tip-off on Dec. 21 with the game airing on ESPN+.
