Series History
This is the 14th All-Time meeting between USC Upstate and Campbell University dating back to the 2008 season. Although, Campbell holds an 8-5 overall advantage in the series, USC Upstate won the last matchup 91-74. USC Upstate trailed 44-34 going into the halftime break and scored a season high 57 second half points against Campbell to secure the Homecoming victory. Tommy Bruner scored a career high 30-points against the Fighting Camels with 21-points coming in the second half. It was also the first game the Spartans had overcome a 10-point halftime deficit since the 2017 season. USC Upstate is just 2-4 in games played in Buies Creek, N.C., the Spartans last win came on 2/26/2011 with a 70-64 win over the Camels.

Ones to Watch
Upstate – Tommy Bruner (Columbia, S.C.) and Everette Hammond (Silver Springs, Md.) are once again at the top of the scoring column for the Spartans. Bruner is averaging a team best 14.6 points per game and has posted a team best 69 assists on the season. Hammond is second on the team this year with 12.1 points per contest. Dalvin White (Norcross, Ga.) and Bryson Mozone (North Augusta, S.C.) are both averaging 9.5 points per game this season. Nevin Zink (Newtown, Conn.) leads the team with 90 total rebounds on the year.     
 
Campbell – Cedric Henderson and Jordan Whitfield are both averaginig double-figures for Campbell this season. Henderson is averaging 15.6 points per game and he is leading the team in blocks (21) and steals (24). Whitfield is averaging 14.9 points per game and has a team best 55 assists on the season. Joshua Lusane leads the team with 91 total rebounds.

The Spartans will take the short jaunt down I-26 on Monday evening to take on the Presbyterian Bluehose, tip-off is slated for 6:00 p.m.
