Due to COVID concerns within the men's basketball program, the team has not been able to play since the January 14-15th series against Hampton University. 

Series History
This is the fourth all-time meeting between Radford and USC Upstate dating back to the 2019 season. The Spartans and the Highlanders have never met outside of Big South competition. USC Upstate is 0-3 all-time against the Highlanders, last time out Radford came away with an 81-60 home victory over the Spartans.

Ones to Watch
Upstate – Tommy Bruner (Columbia, S.C.) leads the Spartan offense with 14.5 points per game this season. Bruner also leads the team in steals (18), assists (59). Everette Hammond (Silver Springs, Md.) is averaging 12.1 points per game and is second on the team in steals (15) and third on the team in assists (33). The former Big South Player of the Week Dalvin White (Norcross, Ga.) is now averaging 9.5 points per game and a is second on the team with 44 assists. Nevin Zink (Newtown, Conn.) leads the team with 77 total rebounds.  
 
Radford – Fah'Mir Ali leads the Highlanders offensively this season with 10.4 points per game, 60 total assists and 24 steals. Ali is also averaging a team best 28.2 minutes of action. Lewis Djonkam and Dravon Mangum are second on the team with 8.9 points per game.
 
UP next for the Spartans
The Spartans return home to face Gardner-Webb on Monday, February 8th, tip-off is slated for 5:00 p.m. and will be broadcasted regionally on CW62.
