Series History
Meeting for the first time since North Carolina A&T joined the Big South ahead of the 2021-22 season, USC Upstate and North Carolina A&T are meeting for the fourth time in the Spartans' Division I era (2007-pres.). The Spartans have taken each of the prior meetings in the series, winning twice during the 2014-15 season and in 2015-16.

Players to Watch
Upstate: Shooting 9-of-12 from the field, including a career-high-tying six made three-pointers, senior guard Dalvin White led Upstate with a career-high 30 points—21 in the second half—against Winthrop last Wednesday. He also passed out a game-high six assists, passing out six or more assists in four of his six Big South Conference games.
 
N.C. A&T: Tallying his second double-double in the last three games, guard Demetric Horton scored 15 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Aggies against Longwood. The game marked his fourth straight scoring in double figures as he enters Saturday's game leading North Carolina A&T in scoring at 12.3 points per game.
 
UP Next for the Spartans
Following its game at North Carolina A&T, Upstate continues its two-game road swing next Wednesday with another clash with a Big South Northern Division foe. The Spartans meet Hampton on Feb. 2 for a 7 p.m. ET tip-off from Hampton, Va.
