CHARLOTTE, N.C. - USC Upstate women's soccer collected two more post season honors as the Big South Conference announced Cora Brendle and Emily Sanders to the All-Tournament Team on Sunday evening. Â
After being named the Big South Conference Goalkeeper of the Year, Brendle had an exceptional performance during the semi-final match against Radford. Against the Highlanders, Brendle played the full 90 minutes and collected six saves on 15 shots faced. Â
Sanders also put forth an impressive performance against Radford as she started her 14th consecutive match, her 16th of the season, as an outside back for the Spartans. She played all but four minutes of the semi-final match and recorded one shot in the 24th minute of play. Â
Brendle and Sanders are the first Spartans to collect All-Tournament Team honors since Abbie Ellis and Emelie Valenciano in 2018. These honors are the third and fourth Big South All-Tournament honors in the program's history.Â
