Series History
Opening their home-and-home series Tuesday, Upstate and Presbyterian are meeting for the 13^th and 14^th times in the programs' Division I eras (2007-pres.). The Spartans led the series early, taking each of the first three meetings before the Blue Hose captured seven of the next nine meetings to lead the series 7-5 entering Tuesday's game. Last season, Presbyterian captured both meetings.

Players to Watch
Upstate: Knocking down 13 threes and posting two consecutive career games, freshman guard Terah Harness captured her first career Big South Freshman of the Week honor. In games two games against Winthrop, she tallied a career-high-tying 18 points behind a career-best six made threes in game one before posting a career-high 19 points and a career-high-tying seven rebounds in game two. In three games last week, she averaged 15.0 points and 4.7 rebounds per game.
 
Presbyterian: Entering Tuesday's game averaging 15.8 points per contest, forward Jade Compton represents Presbyterian's lone double-figure scorer this season. Through 13 conference games, she's tallied 10 double-figure scoring games, including 16 points against North Carolina A&T last Saturday. In addition to leading the Blue Hose in scoring, she also leads the team in rebounding, averaging 7.4 boards per game.

Following Tuesday's game, Upstate and Presbyterian face one another again Wednesday afternoon in Clinton, S.C. to complete the home-and-home series. Tip-off in game two of the Spartans and Blue Hose's series is set for 6 p.m. ET.
