Spartanburg, S.C. – Following a sweep of S.C. State on Tuesday afternoon, Upstate swept Campbell in a double-header on Saturday. Game one brought a 4-2 victory followed by an 11-1 walk off after Sarah Price hit her first career grand slam.
The Spartans took a two-run lead in the bottom of the first inning to set the tone in game one against Campbell. Campbell was able to put one run on the board in the top of the third and get the equalizing run during the top of the fourth. Regardless, Upstate was able to maintain control of the game, scoring two runs in the bottom of the fourth and holding the Camels scoreless for the remainder of the game. Hannah Houge earned her 15th win of the season as she pitched 7.0 innings, surrendering five hits and two runs, and recording 11 strikeouts.
Game two went scoreless for the first two innings. Campbell took the lead in the third with a home run from their leadoff batter in the inning. Upstate responded with two runs in the bottom of the fourth, one of which was Peyton Darnell's 10th home run. The Spartans extended their lead with a sacrifice fly in the fifth inning, only to solidify the win with seven runs in the bottom of the sixth. Alyssa Kelly earned her eighth win of the season as she pitched 6.0 innings, surrendering three hits and one run, while recording two strikeouts.

B1: Sarah Price was able to get Upstate on the board for the first time as she came off a wild pitch.

T3: Alexa Pagano hit a home run through left center to shorten Upstate's gap to one run.

T4: Delaney McDilda hit a single to left center and advanced on throw as Samanatha Fontaine tied the game with a run home from third.

B4: With Celeste Delorenzo on first, Alanna Deal hit a double to left center; Delorenzo's run returned the lead back to Upstate with the score becoming 3-2

B4: After stealing third, Deal came home off a throwing error by the Camels' catcher.

T3: With her first at-bat, Noemi Cortez hit a homerun to left center giving Campbell the lead.

B4: Peyton Darnell matched Campbell's home run with one of her own down the left field line but also brought home Summer Johnson who was on first, to give Upstate the lead.

B5: Mady Lanoux hit a sacrificed fly to center field, allowing enough time for Marisa Soterakis to round home plate.

B6: With the bases loaded, Alanna Deal hit a single to right center, advancing pinch runner Alexa Sanchez to third while Tiffany Domingue and Caroline Jacquay came home.

B6: As three Spartans filled the bases for the second time in the bottom of the sixth, Marisa Soterakis hit a single to left field, advancing Celeste Delorenzo to second and sending Alanna Deal and Alexa Sanchez home, making the score 6-0.

B6: Sarah Price ended the game with a walk-off grand slam down the left field line to bring Marisa Soterakis, Celeste Delorenzo, and Alanna Deal home with her.
