Scoring Summary
- T1: Opening the scoring Tuesday, Wofford turned to a bit of small ball to push across its first run, opting for a squeeze with runners on the corners with Jack Renwick at the plate. The Terriers plated a second run as Ryan Galanie singled into right-center, bringing home a runner from second.
- B2: Hammering the first pitch he saw, Cole Caruso put the Spartans on the board with a double into the left-center gap as Cameron MacIntosh motored around a scored from first. Caruso later came into score as Jack Hennessy lifted a sacrifice fly into leftfield.
- T3: Following an inning-opening double and a sac bunt, Wofford retook the lead as Galanie racked up his second RBI by scoring a runner from third with a groundout.
- B4: With two outs in the fourth, the Spartans took advantage of a Wofford error that allowed Hennessy to cross the plate from third, tying the ballgame.
- T7: Singling back through the box, Renwick tallied RBI numbers two and three as he brought home two runners to push Wofford back in front.
- T8: Leading off the eighth, Galanie secured his third RBI as he homered to left, extending Wofford's advantage. The Terriers added an additional tally in the frame on a Zeb Roos sacrifice fly.
- T9: Wofford tacked on three additional runs in the ninth, scoring off a fielder's choice that failed to cut down the runner heading to the plate, an RBI double from Gunnar Johnson, and a sac fly from Nolen Hester.
- B9: Looking to erase a seven-run deficit, Upstate tallied three runs in the inning as Jeff Taylor and Al Holguin ripped successive RBI singles through the right side before Jace Rinehart bounced into a fielder's choice with the bases loaded to bring in the game's final run.
