Upstate Track & Field Head to Rock Hill to Compete in the Winthrop Invite

Spartanburg, S.C.- Upstate men's and women's track & field prepare to participate in the Winthrop Invite on Friday and Saturday in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

During the 49er Classic, Channing Ferguson, Bryce Ravenell, and the men's 4x100m relay team of Jared Henderson, Javin Holston, Malik Watson, ZoRyan Hendricks all set new Upstate school records in their respective events.

Women's track & field came home with eight top-five finishes including Angelnique Bryant placing first in the 100m dash, Brooke Ferguson placing fourth in the high jump and Bracie Vaughn placed third in the 100m hurdles. The 4x100m relay team of Bryant, Smith, Brown, and Vaughn placed second while the women's 4x400 team of De'Avion Nesbitt, Arianna Krcik, Giovana Machado, and Saleia Porter finished fourth.

The men's team secured 12 top-five finishes with ZoRyan Hendricks, Channing Ferguson, and Bryce Ravenell all finishing first. Ferguson also placed second in the long jump and Ravenell finished third in the high jump. The 4x100m relay team of Jared Henderson, Javin Holston, Malik Watson, ZoRyan Hendricks finished second as did the 4x400m relay team of Frederick Thompson, Andre Green, Malcom Leach, Dion Livingstone.
