Spartanburg, S.C. – USC Upstate head cross country coach Carson Blackwelder has announced his fall 2022 schedule, which features two home meets. The Spartans kick off their season by hosting the Eye Opener on September 2nd, starting at 6:30 p.m.
"We have a strong schedule this year building off some high caliber meets mid-season going into our conference championship," said Coach Blackwelder.
Following their host meet, the Spartans will participate in the Firetower Project Open on September 17th at 5:00 p.m. in Boone, N.C. and remain on the road to compete in the Louisville Classic on October 1st at 10:00 a.m.
Upstate will serve as host for the second time of the season for the Upstate Invite on Saturday, October 15th, starting at 9:00 a.m. Both of Upstate's home meets will be held at the Roger Milliken Center in Spartanburg, S.C.
After its second host meet of the season, Upstate will compete in the Big South Cross Country Championships in Farmville, Va. on October 29th, followed by the NCAA Southeast Regionals on November 11th in Louisville, KY.
