SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Gotta keep an eye out for those Carolina Cougars
The USC Upstate Spartans have a true home game now as they host the College of Charleston Cougars tomorrow night.
The MatchUP

Series History
There isn't much to put here really. The two South Carolina schools have met on the pitch once before. In the meeting at Charleston last season, neither team was able to find the back of the net and the first ever meeting between the Spartans and the Cougars ended in a scoreless tie after two overtimes.
The only other time the two schools have seen each other was for an exhibition during the 2018 and 2019 seasons.
Last Match
The Spartans are coming off their first win of the 2022 season, taking down the Wofford Terriers 4-2 at Wofford for the first time since Upstate moved to D-1. Upstate was propelled by an offensive explosion that saw six Spartans record a point.
Charleston is coming off a 3-1 conference win against Monmouth. The Cougars have struggled on the road, going 0-1-2 so far this season when leaving their home stadium. They average 2.5 goals when at home, but average .333 goals when on the road.
The Six Degrees
Upstate and Charleston haven't shared an opponent yet this season.
Players to Watch
