SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Heading back on the road following the team's 35-point win over Voorhees Saturday at the G.B. Hodge Center, USC Upstate men's basketball remains in the Palmetto State, trekking towards the coast for a Wednesday meeting with Coastal Carolina. The matchup marks the first time the two teams have met in consecutive seasons in the Spartans' Division I era (2007-pres.) and provides a rematch to last season's meeting in Spartanburg that saw Upstate prevail in the final seconds.

USC Upstate: Behind 12 points and 12 rebounds, redshirt senior forward
Ahmir Langlais recorded his second career double-double against Voorhees, the first double-double for the program since he recorded an 18-point, 11-rebound effort against Coastal Carolina last season. He's recorded double-figures in four of the last five games—scoring nine or more points in each game—as he's averaged 12.0 points and 7.6 rebounds per game while shooting 54.4 percent from the field during the stretch. He also leads the Spartans in blocks, recording 10 blocks on the year with multiple blocks in four games this season.
Coastal Carolina: The Chanticleers also enter Wednesday's game with a big man coming off a double-double as graduate student center John Ojiako recorded 12 points and 10 rebounds against North Carolina Central. The game marked his fourth consecutive scoring 10 or more points as he's scored nine or more points in all five games this season, averaging 11.2 points per game. He also enters the game averaging 8.8 rebounds per game, ranking fifth in the Sun Belt in the category, while he averages 4.00 offensive boards a game to lead the league.

Gameday Parking
Fans attending USC Upstate basketball games in the coming weeks will notice a change in parking options. Parking for the general public will only be available in front of the Hodge Center as the rows adjacent to the building on the University Way side are closed due to renovation work to the Hodge Center roof. VIP parking for donors entering the Champions Suite behind the Arena is unaffected. Parking is free for all USC Upstate basketball games and the closure of the side lots around the building will be in effect indefinitely.
