Men's Basketball Heads Back on the Road for Final Game Ahead of the Holidays and the Penultimate Non-Conference Game at Davidson

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Facing the team's penultimate non-conference game of the season, USC Upstate men's basketball hits the road for the final time in its non-Big South slate for the team's final game ahead of the Holiday break. The Spartans trek to Davidson for the first meeting with the Wildcats during the Spartans' Division I era (2007-pres.)—the fifth first-time opponent on the Spartans' schedule this season.

USC Upstate: Scoring in double-figures for the third straight contest and fourth time in his past five games, redshirt senior forward Ahmir Langlais upped his season scoring average into double-figures, becoming the third Spartan this season to average double-figures this season. Against Western Carolina, he notched his seventh double-figure scoring game of the year with 13 points while securing his fifth game with eight or more rebounds—pulling in eight—as he neared his third double-double of the season. He's tallied two double-doubles over the Spartans' last five games and has recorded each of Upstate's last three double-doubles, dating back to the 2022-23 season.
 
Davidson: Pacing the Wildcats' offense, senior guard Grant Huffman ranks second in the A-10 in assists per game and ranks third in the conference in total assists, averaging 5.3 helpers per game and passing out 58 total on the year. He also enters Thursday's game as one of three Davidson players scoring in double-figures as he averages 11.5 points per game and has scored in double-figures in six of his last seven games.
