Series History
A series featuring the two institutions that transitioned to NCAA Division I on the same date, July 1, 2007, USC Upstate and Presbyterian meet for the 11th time in the programs' D1 eras Wednesday. Winning the January 18 meeting 61-60, the Spartans have won four straight games and hold a 6-4 lead in the series. The game also marks the seventh game between the two teams in Clinton where the teams have split.

Players to Watch
Upstate: Scoring a team-high 15 points against High Point, senior forward Nick Alves secured his second double-figure scoring game over the past three games and his fifth of the season, tying his season-high scoring total. Over the past three games, he's shot 93.8 percent from the field, shooting 6-of-6 against Winthrop, 2-of-2 against Longwood, and 7-of-8 against High Point. For the season, he's shooting 54.2 percent from the floor.
 
Presbyterian: Returning to double-figures with a team-high-tying 13 points, guard Jalen Forrest posted his 14th double-figure scoring game of the year as he leads the Blue Hose in scoring this season at 11.3 points per game. He's upped his scoring average to 12.3 points per game during league play with 10 of his 14 double-figure scoring games coming in Big South play.
