Series History
A series with regular season championship implications and featuring former ASUN transplants who have found a home in the Big South, USC Upstate and Campbell meet for the 26th, 27th, and 28th times in the Spartans' Division I era (2007-pres.). The series has been a tale of two conferences as Upstate took 10 of the 12 meetings in the ASUN (2008-2011) and Campbell has taken 11 of the 13 meetings in the Big South (2019-pres.). Last season, the Camels swept the regular season series before taking the meeting between the two teams at the Big South Tournament.

Players to Watch
USC Upstate:
Pitcher: Pitching a career-long 7.0 innings and striking out a career-best six hitters as he permitted four baserunners, freshman right-hander Mathieu Curtis earned his third career Big South Freshman of the Week nod following his performance versus Charleston Southern. Earning his sixth win, he leads all Big South freshmen with his six victories as he sports a 6-2 record over 13 total appearances and 11 starts this season. Over 56.2 innings, he's struck out 41 batters and held opponents to a .266 batting average entering the final series of the season.

Position Player: Picking up his 12th double of the year Tuesday at Clemson, junior second baseman Easton Cullison has doubled in three straight games for the Spartans, totaling four two-baggers in the stretch. He enters the weekend holding a seven-game hitting streak, the longest active streak by a Spartan, hitting .429 with six of his 12 doubles during the streak. Out of the midweek, he posts a slash-line of .318/.400/.399 while swiping 23 stolen bases, the program's Division I era (2007-pres.) high-water mark.

Campbell:
Pitcher: Returning to the mound after missing his last three starts, right-hander Cade Kuehler takes the ball for the Camels in game one Thursday, holding a 7-0 record, 3.21 earned run average, and 76 strikeouts. His last start saw him toss 4.0 innings on April 21 against High Point, scattering eight hits and seven runs (five earned) while striking out three, earning a no-decision.

Position Player: Going 10-for-15 with four multi-hit games last week, third baseman Chandler Riley garnered co-Big South Player of the Week accolades last week as he added six runs scored and four RBI to his .667 weekly batting average. On the season, he sports a .305 batting average with 11 extra-base hits and 19 RBI over 42 games.
