Players to Watch
Upstate: The Spartans began the season with an exhibition game against USC Lancaster and will finish the exhibition line-up against the Royals. Upstate returns 25 players, three of which were key scorers. Both
Adrian Panaite and
Dzenan Cerimagic each come off a freshman season with three goals and two assists.
Ezra Hoffman was another key scorer for the Spartans, totaling two goals and two assists.
Cooper Jennings returns in goal for Upstate after totaling 79 saves last season. Preseason All-Conference defender
Elijah Jackson returns to the backline for the Spartans, along with
Carson Hickok and
Anthony Cox. Jackson and Hickok each played over 1,000 minutes last season.
Queens: The Royals started the 2024 season with an exhibition match-up against East Tennessee State. Queens enters this season after finishing the 2023 campaign going 5-10-2 overall and 3-4 in conference play. Returning for the Royals is last year's lead scorer, Michel Feldman. Also returning are Ciro Bourlot Jaeggi and Samuel Idinge, both of whom helped the Royal's offense. Evan Morris returns in goal after finishing his freshman season with 47 saves.

Upstate will officially begin the 2024 regular season with a road game at UNC Greensboro on August 22 at 7:00 pm.
