Atlanta, Ga. – Upstate Men's Soccer continued their road stand, facing Georgia State University. Despite being down early in the match, Upstate would even the score before halftime at 1-1. In a hard-fought match, the Spartans would fall short to the Panthers 3-2.
Bradyn Cobb took the first shot for Upstate. It was
Luke Halkett who found the back of the net first for the Spartans. Halkett capitalized off a penalty kick, sending it past the Panthers keeper. He finished the night with two shots and played all 90 minutes of the match.
Dzenan Cerimagic tallied his third goal of the season from an assist by
Shayne Abrams and
Carson Hickok. Cerimagic also recorded two shots on goal.
Fabian Dietrich and
Ezra Hoffman each finished the night with a shot on goal.
Elijah Jackson and
Adrian Panaite finished the match with a shot. Goalkeeper
Cooper Jennings finished the night with four saves.
