Players to watch

Upstate: Freshman Forward, Josh Zawlocki continues to fly under the radar as a player that may not be in the starting eleven but is dangerous when his number is called. Zawlocki has the stamina to defend and force his opponent to make a mistake while also having an aggressive attacking mindset. Josh Zawlocki scored the lone goal in the midweek match against Queens University of Charlotte from a beautiful cross to a header assisted by Oscar Kelly. Zawlocki adds two goals scored on the season and continues to impress the coaching staff while growing his confidence in his collegiate career.

High Point: Redshirt Sophomore Forward, Daniel Lugo continues to be on every team scouting report as a player that can contribute when his team needs him. Lugo not only leads his team with goals scored but also leads the Big South with seven and leads the conference with three game-winning goals. Lugo adds the number one spot with 16 points total while recently being named to the prestigious Missouri Athletic Club Hermann Trophy Midseason Watch List. The Spartans will look to neutralize the offensive threat that he provides and slow the momentum of the Panthers.
