SPARTANBURG, S.C. - After a two-game homestand, Upstate Men's Basketball returns to non-conference road play taking on UNCW for Saturday night action at 7:00 P.M. live on FloCollege. The Spartans look to build on their three-game winning streak with a big road test against UNCW, a team who was in the NCAA Tournament during the 2024-25 season.

Players to Watch
USC Upstate: Redshirt Junior Wing, Learic Davis adds a versatile style of play with his ability to score as a slasher along with his will to spread the floor or defend on the opposing end. Davis can guard positions 1-through-5 and fits into the Marty Richter system due to playing every game like his last along with adjusting to any matchup. Davis has added his career high twice both scoring 15 points in the season opener against Cal Baptist followed by a 15-point performance against Bob Jones while adding his career high of three assists. Davis will look to play key role on the offensive and defensive side for the Saturday matchup against UNCW.
UNCW: Redshirt Junior Forward, Patrick Wessler brings a traditional big man style to the game using his seven-foot height to score over defenders. In his first two games with the Seahawks, Wessler added back-to-back double doubles with a 17 point and 14 rebounds performance against Mount Olive followed by 17 points and 10 rebound performances against Kent State. Wessler also added a four-block performance against Mount Olive and will look to make his presence known in the paint against the Spartans.
