Players to Watch
USC Upstate: Bringing home a historic haul of all-conference honorees, five different Spartans found themselves an All-Big South selection, a program record for total honorees in a single season. Headlining the group, sophomore setter Kamyla Vega David, the league's leader in total assists (1089) and assists per set (10.37), is the Big South's Setter of the Year and a First Team All-Big South selection. Senior middle blocker Ady O'Grady joined Vega David on the First Team while freshman outside hitter Summer Kohler, freshman middle blocker Kensley Haneline, and freshman libero Sophia Overholt were named Second Team, Honorable Mention, and Honorable Mention All-Big South, respectively. Kohler, Haneline, and Overholt were also named to the Big South All-Freshman Team.
 
UNC Asheville: The Bulldogs boast a pair of all-conference performers heading into the postseason as fifth-year senior libero Michelle Thao and junior right-side hitter Albertine van der Goot took home honors. Thao, ranking second in the Big South in both total digs (484) and digs per set (4.89) earned co-Big South Libero of the Year honors while van der Goot was an Honorable Mention All-Big South selection.
