Volleyball's Ady O'Grady Earns Third Career CSC Academic All-District Nod; Advances to Academic All-American Ballot

GREENWOOD, Ind. – Adding another crowning achievement to her illustrious USC Upstate volleyball career, senior middle blocker Ady O'Grady becomes the first player in program history to garner three College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selections with the organization's announcement of its yearly honor Tuesday afternoon. Receiving the honor in 2025, she's earned the prestigious academic honor in each of the past three seasons.

A native of Hilton Head Island, S.C., O'Grady maintained a 3.88 GPA as she pursued a degree in Exercise & Sport Science, adding her latest CSC Academic All-District selection to her Big South All-Academic Team nod earned in November.

A First Team All-Big South selection in 2025, O'Grady ranked second in the Big South in total points (428.5) and hitting efficiency (.355) while ranking third in the league in kills (359). Her 2025 season also saw her surpass the 1,000-kill mark for her career, the 13^th Spartan to hit the milestone in program history, while securing program Division I era (2007-pres.) records for career hitting efficiency (.285), career block assists (275; also program record), and single-season hitting efficiency (.335 in 2025).

O'Grady advances to the national ballot for CSC Academic All-America with voting to be conducted by CSC members. The Academic All-America announcement is set for January 13, 2026.
