Players to Watch
USC Upstate: Junior Guard, Brit Harris transitioned to the team sixth man mid-season and embraced leading the second unit while continuing his will to score. Harris has scored in double figures through the last two games against Charleston Southern and High Point. Harris currently is second on the team in scoring with 11.5 points per game while shooting 48 percent from the field, 36 percent from beyond the arc, and 88 percent from the charity stripe. As Upstate looks to end the regular season before prepping for the Big South Tournament, the Lancers will have to look out for Brit Harris who looks to continue his scoring tear along with tying the season series against Longwood.
Longwood: Sophomore Guard, Colby Garland currently is second on the team in points per game averaging 11.7 points while shooting 47 percent from the field, 37 percent from beyond the arc and 83 percent from the charity stripe. In the last matchup against Upstate, Garland added 12 Points, eight assists, and two steals to help the Lancers use their hot second half to halt Upstate. As Longwood looks to rebound from the loss against Winthrop, Garland will prepare to help Longwood steal a victory on the road while looking to sweep the season series.
