Players to Watch

Upstate: Defender Gwen McAllister has already made an impact as a freshman, causing the own goal by Wofford. The 2025 Big South Preseason Forward of the Year, Dara Russo, looks to keep making an impact after leading the team last season in goals (9), assists (5), points (23), and shots (56). Goalkeeper Marley Gerber recorded her first clean sheet against Wofford, not allowing a single shot on goal.
 
Davidson: Sophia Whiddon returns for the Wildcats, already leading the team in points with three after her one goal and one assist performance against UNC Greensboro. Reese Montgomery is the other Wildcat who has scored a goal already this season. Goalkeeper Grace Stair has five saves.
