Players to Watch
Upstate: Freshman Midfielder, Henry Burt is the voice and the energy for Upstate's lineup when he takes the pitch each time for the Spartans. Appearing and starting in all five matches for Upstate, Burt has logged 415 minutes playing the full 90 minutes in four of five matchups. Burt has taken three shots this season but his true impact may not always show in the box score. With Head Coach, Michael Antoniewicz at the helm on the sidelines, Henry Burt has taken the role of the passionate player who can set his teammates up in the right direction and cheers on all the success with his teammates. Burt plays with a competitive edge and grit that cannot be taught which why his peers along with the coaching staff have much respect for him in the locker room.
Elon: Graduate Goalkeeper, Jackson Leavitt has been the engine for Elon on the defensive end as the Phoenix has only given up one goal while adding three shutouts in goal. Leavitt has started in four matches logging 360 minutes with a 0.25 goals against average, 11 saves, a .917 save percentage, and a 3-0-1 record. The Spartans will look to challenge the defense of the Phoenix overall and test the will of Leavitt.
