USC Upstate: The reigning Big South Conference Player of the Week, senior middle blocker Ady O'Grady earned her third career nod Monday afternoon, all coming during the 2025 season. She's coming off a career-best 23 kills and 27.0 points versus The Citadel last Saturday with her kill total tying for the third-best in a single match in the program's Division I era (2007-pres.) and standing as the most by a middle blocker in a match in the era. O'Grady enters league play as the conference's leader in total kills, kills per set, hitting percentage, total points, and points per set.
 
UNC Asheville: The highest volume attacker in the Big South, leading the league with 491 attempts on the season, redshirt junior outside hitter Kylie Cackovic paces the Bulldogs with 152 kills. She ranks third in the Big South in total kills and fourth in the league in kills per set, averaging 3.17 per stanza as she's the lone UNC Asheville attacker averaging 3.0 or more kills per set. Eight times this year, she's reached double-digit kills in a match.
 
Up Next for the Spartans
As Big South Conference play gets underway, USC Upstate returns to the G.B. Hodge Center for the first time during league play, hosting a pair of matches next Friday and Saturday. The Spartans welcome Presbyterian and Charleston Southern to Spartanburg with match times set for 6 p.m. and 4 p.m. ET, respectively.
