Players to Watch
Sophomore, Jarrett Wuerslin was named the Big South Defensive Player of the Week on Tuesday, September 2nd which was his first weekly honor of the year and in a Spartan uniform. Wuerslin has started in four matches logging 360 minutes, 15 saves, a .625 save percentage, and is 1-2-1 in goal. Jarrett Wuerslin has came into his role as the starting goalkeeper with the leadership of Tony Uv as the keepers' coach making opponents really work to score a goal.
College of Charleston: The Sophomore Forward from London, England, Ben Bagshaw currently leads College of Charleston with two goals scored and two assists with six points. Bagshaw assisted a goal in the top-25 win over the University of North Carolina on Monday, September 1st. The Spartans will look to challenge the Cougars in their Tuesday night battle.
