SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Facing the team's penultimate road contest and closing a stretch of three of four games played away from home, USC Upstate women's basketball hits the road Wednesday, travelling to Radford for a 7 p.m. ET tip-off. The Spartans and Highlanders meet for the 19^th time in the Spartans' Division I era (2007-pres.) as Upstate seeks to snap a five-game losing streak in the series.

Players to Watch
USC Upstate: Scoring 20-plus points in three consecutive games, redshirt sophomore guard Cassie Gallagher holds the longest consecutive streak of 20-plus-point games by a Spartan since 2021-22. Her nine 20-plus point scoring efforts this season are the most in a single season by a Spartan since Chellia Watson totaled 10 in 2021-22. Gallagher enters Wednesday's game ranked third in the Big South in scoring, averaging 16.0 points per game while ranking second in the league in three-point field goal percentage, shooting 41.7 percent from distance.
 
Radford: The leading scorer for the Highlanders in the first meeting between the two clubs, sophomore guard Cate Carlson, finished with 17 points, going 6-of-11 from the field and 5-of-9 from three against the Spartans. The game was part of a stretch of four straight double-figure scoring games as she enters Wednesday's contest with double-figure scoring in five of her last six games. Carlson sits just shy of a double-figure scoring average at 9.0 points per contest.
