SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Following his season at the helm of the Upstate Men's Soccer program, Head Coach Michael Antoniewicz is eager for spring ball to take place as the Spartans have been on the pitch training ready for the next challenge. 

Coming off a 5-11-3 season (2-3-2 Big South) including making an appearance in the Big South Men's Soccer Championships and advancing to the Semifinal round for the first time since 2022, the Spartans look to regroup with a mix of returners and newcomers who are anticipated to make an immediate impact. For the first team, Upstate Men's Soccer currently has five dates scheduled and nine opponents on the slate for the spring season. Spring ball will give the coaching staff a well-needed evaluation to take into the fall semester.  

Upstate takes the pitch first on Saturday, March 21st hosting Coker University and Lees McCrae which are familiar programs for Coaches Michael Antoniewicz, Matthew Dunn and Tony Vu spent a successful time at Coker followed by Dunn being a former student-athlete for the Bobcats. The following Saturday for the final match in March sees Upstate host USC Lancaster and Spartanburg Methodist. Heading into April, the Spartans welcome USC Aiken for Thursday action on April 2nd and follow with their final home date hosting Wingate and North Greenville on Wednesday, April 11th. For the final date of spring ball, Upstate travels across town as the Spartanburg foes of Wofford and Converse will be on the slate on April 17th at Wofford. Each match date outside of April 17th will be played on the game field at the County University Soccer Stadium with free admission. Times for each match are scheduled to be announced at a later date.

Apr. 17- vs. Wofford and Converse (Away at Wofford)
