SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Returning to the road for the first time during the back half of Big South Conference play, USC Upstate women's basketball begins a stretch against regional rivals as it travels to Presbyterian Wednesday evening for a 6 p.m. ET tip. The Spartans seek to complete the season sweep of the Blue Hose following a 58-38 win in Spartanburg on Jan. 14, closing the gap in the series to 11-9 in favor of Presbyterian.

USC Upstate: Notching the fifth of her six 20-point efforts this season, redshirt sophomore guard
Cassie Gallagher led the Spartans in their first meeting with Presbyterian, scoring a game-high 24 markers. A 40.3 percent shooting from the field this season, she shot a career-high 64.7 percent (11-of-17) from the floor against the Blue Hose. Gallagher enters Wednesday's contest ranked fourth in the Big South in scoring, averaging 15.0 points per game.
Presbyterian: Pushing her scoring average into double-figures with three straight games scoring in double-figures following the first meeting with Upstate, senior guard Ja'Cia Cunningham leads the Blue Hose in scoring, averaging 10.6 points per game. Since the Jan. 14 contest against the Spartans, she's notched a pair of 20-plus point scoring efforts, her second and third of the campaign. She enters Wednesday's contest shooting 31.9 percent from the field while adding 20 steals, 18 assists, and nine blocks.
